What staff practise

The moments that test good care.

  • Distress and confusionMargaret is frightened and doesn't know where she is.
  • Looking for someoneShe asks for a person who isn't there, or who has died.
  • Refusing careShe doesn't want help with washing, dressing or medication.
  • Keeping her dignitySupporting her choices while keeping her safe.

How it works

Meet her. Respond. Reflect.

  1. Meet Margaret

Learners meet Margaret on a headset, or on a desktop or phone.

  2. Respond in your own words

Margaret is an AI character, so she reacts to what each learner actually says and does. Every run is different.

  3. Debrief

Learners see what helped Margaret, what made things harder and what to try next time. Managers see a record of each run.

Clinical input

Written with people who do this work.

Margaret's behaviour and the debrief are reviewed by practising professionals, so the situations are true to life and the guidance reflects good practice.

Margaret is a person first, not a list of symptoms.
